Since 2012 Nashville Gives Hope has independently funded La Maison d’Harmonie (Harmony House), an orphanage that cares for 16 children. These children range in age from 3 to 18 and are all here due to tragic circumstances, including the 2010 earthquake that killed more than 100,000 Haitians and left many more homeless.

The children’s unique personalities have flourished under our care. However, due to their different ages, they also have unique needs.

NGH provides housing, schooling and/or tuition, uniforms, medical expenses, and countless other needs. Sadly, some of the children have now matured to adulthood and must leave the orphanage—because NGH considers them our own, we will finance their continued education, as we firmly believe that education is the primary catalyst by which real change can be achieved in the Western Hemisphere’s most impoverished country.
